The biyuya ensemble is an exciting international collective of musicians crossing boarders. Six extraordinary artists combine their roots and a contemporary melange of polyphonic, improvised, vocal music emerges. The emotional and dynamic range is tremendous: gradual and abrupt changes between an intimate voice within the space of chambermusic and furious orchestral runs are creating an intense accoustic experience.

On their CDs Birdy (2004) and breakdown.yu (2003) their spirit and musicality is incredible. Every single musician is moving with great freedom of expression and individuality.
